Refresh tired or compacted indoor potting soil with a balanced amendment blend created for foliage plants. Made with soil-enhancing ingredients, organic worm castings, guano, minerals, and a small amount of slow-release plant nutrition, this blend helps support better soil structure, drainage, and healthy plant growth.

Apply it as a top dressing by sprinkling it over the soil, gently mixing it into the upper layer, and watering thoroughly. It may also be blended with fresh potting soil when repotting.

About This Product

Thoughtful plant care begins with the soil. Our soil amendment combines organic worm castings, guano, minerals, and a small amount of slow-release plant nutrition to supplement the potting mix around your indoor foliage plants. Prepared using ingredients we use with our own greenhouse plants, it can be applied as a top dressing or blended with potting soil when repotting.

Each pound comes in its own resealable bag, making it convenient to lift, store, and use as needed. Choose one bag or a set of two, three, or four—every set contains individual 1 lb bags, so there is no large, heavy package to handle each time you tend your plants.

  • Application: Gently work the amendment into the upper layer of potting soil, taking care to avoid damaging roots. Water slowly and thoroughly, then allow excess water to drain. If the existing mix is very dry and resists absorbing water, moisten it gradually before mixing in the amendment. In our greenhouse, we have found that incorporating this blend into older potting mixes can help improve rewetting. Distribute the amendment evenly through the soil you can gently loosen without disturbing the root system.

Returns & Order Issues

To protect our greenhouse, soil supplies, and plants from potential contamination, PlantsNDesigns does not accept returns of soil amendments once packages have left our possession. This applies to both opened and unopened packages.

If your order arrives damaged or contains an incorrect item, please contact us with your order number and clear photographs of the product and packaging so we can review the issue and assist you.

Can I cancel my order?

You may cancel your order as long as the package remains in our possession. Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number. Once the package has been handed over to the carrier, we can no longer cancel the order.
